  • Krystal Temple

Ms. Krystal is passionate about making the children in our care feel safe and well nurtured. This is also what Ms. Krystal look's for in her team members. She understands what children need to be successful and leads her team in fulfilling the needs of children and families she serves. During her time as the Center Director, Ms. Krystal has emphasized a sense of family at the center, making sure that everyone feels a sense of warmth when they walk in the door. Ms. Krystal has had the opportunity to have Caden, Connar and Carsen, her three children, be part of the St. Charles KinderCare family. She frequently visits all the classrooms to spend time with the children, sing with them or just be silly. Ms. Krystal is always available to her families and welcomes you to visit and see how the St. Charles KinderCare can become a part of your family.

  • Whitney Welch

Whitney has been a part of the KinderCare family since 2007. Her previous experience includes working at a KinderCare in the northwest suburbs as a full time toddler teacher and as an Assistant Director. Whitney has completed a child life internship program at Alexian Brothers Women and Children's  Hospital in the pediatric unit where she worked with hospitalized children and their families to help them understand what is occuring at their developmental levels throughout their hospitalization. She continues to volunteer her time on weekends to the children and families at Alexian Brothers Women and Children's Hospital. While Whitney attended Northern Michigan University she also worked as a teacher in an early learning facility for several years. Whitney is very excited to join our St. Charles KinderCare family.

  • Mr. Mark

Mr. Mark started with KinderCare Learning Center in January 2015.  He received an Associates Degree from Elgin Community College and is currently enrolled at Northern Illinois University working on a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.  His passion for teaching started during his senior year of high school when he was enrolled with some students in special education classes and realized that he knew what it would take to work with students enrolled in special education.  He truly enjoys working with all of the children and loves making a difference in their lives.  Mr. Mark looks forward to seeing what will happen next as he works with our families to make a positive impact on the children in our center.

  • Ms. Amy

Ms. Amy started with KinderCare in March 2016.  She comes with previous experience at another early learning center as a 2's teacher as well as a nanny for a family for several years.  Ms. Amy completed her Associates Degree in Science at College of DuPage.  She is currently working on her Child Associate Credential in early childhood through Rasmussen College.  One of Ms. Amy's favorite activities is to have a dance party with the infants while also having the opportunity to snuggle with them.

  • Ms. Erica

Ms. Erica started with KinderCare in January 2016.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Augustana College.  Ms. Erica is currently working on her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling at Governors State University.  She is currently completing an intership at Family Service Association of the Greater Elgin Area as an outpatient therapist working with families, children and adolescents.  She previously worked with children of all ages at an early learning center as a Lead Spanish Teacher as well as a nanny for several years.  Ms. Erica believes it is very important to get to know the families of all the infants to help understand the importance of nurturing and attachment in the early months.  She truly loves working with the infants because there are so many changes that occur in their development during these stages.
